Let me introduce you to Ruby. Ruby is a fairy from The Tea Fairies series. Ruby is an unusual, whimsical, beautiful fairy in a purple dress with long crimson hair, surrounded by flowers, under the moon and stars.
Ruby reminds humans to notice the beauty in all of nature. And like all The Tea Fairies she is very magical.
In 2013 a group of fairies came to me. I learned about them, envisioned them and began to translate them through my art. I call this group of fairies The Tea Fairies. I called them this because I knew they needed to be painted on tea bags, in keeping with their charming and tiny nature. The Tea Fairies are unique and one of a kind with their own personality. The fairies are infused with and radiate wonder and delight.
